We are proud to share the birth of saranam – a grassroots philanthropic initiative dedicated to relieving serious health-related suffering through compassionate, integrated palliative and end-of-life care in Karnataka. Across the country, families face immense emotional and financial strain due to chronic illness and inadequate support. Saranam seeks to change that.
Our vision is to build an ecosystem of care that meets people where they are – at home, in the community and within both public and private health systems. Our model combines clinical care, home-based palliative care, psycho-social support and close integration with existing health systems.
Saranam will begin operations in February 2026, offering home-care and out-patient services in collaboration with public and private health providers – taking our first steps toward a future where access to palliative care is a right, not a privilege.
