Towards Equal Foundation proudly celebrates a major milestone achieved by one of its Tara Amma Scholarship students, who was part of the winning team “Trial and Error” at the AIVORA 2026, AI-STHETICA 24 Hour Hackathon.
Hosted in Bengaluru, the hackathon brought together some of the brightest student innovators in the region. Out of 71 participating teams, only 12 teams advanced to the final round, making the competition highly selective and intense. Demonstrating exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and teamwork, the team emerged as the overall winners, securing 1st place.
Project Spotlight: GenVeda
The winning project, “GenVeda – AI Powered Early Screening System for Genetic Disorders,” was developed in the AI healthcare domain. The solution focuses on early detection of genetic conditions using:
- Skin image analysis
- Symptom based evaluation
- Medical history insights
By integrating artificial intelligence with healthcare diagnostics, the project highlights how technology can improve accuracy, efficiency, and accessibility in early stage medical screening. It reflects a strong commitment to solving real world challenges through innovation.
Recognition in Media
The achievement was also featured in institutional media coverage, highlighting the team’s outstanding performance and collaborative strength. The team included students from diverse technical backgrounds, working together under pressure during the 24 hour challenge to design and deliver a high impact solution.
